The Seed - Final project Grafik Design Animation 2019

My final project of my state-certified education as a graphic designer in 2019.

In addition to the 8 week long animation project, a 40 page book about the production and background information was created.
Inside the book you can find information about the characters, some sketches, the storyboard, the fonts and even the sounds.

Summary:
In my short animated film, the pollution of our environment should be made clear. Large areas of land are being "bricked up" due to the ever faster growing cities. At the same time, the deforestation of the primeval forests for arable farming is increasing. As a result, more and more nature is being destroyed on a large scale so that today's consumption can be maintained.
My central theme is therefore consciously in a dreary, gray and littered city. The animals and plants only have a small retreat. The seed symbolizes hope and the future. The main aim of my film is to draw attention to our environment. Particular attention should be drawn to the consumption of resources and endangered plant and animal species.
